At uFlow, we believe that your focus is your own. Our mission is to help you overcome phone addiction while maintaining the highest standards of data privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the uFlow mobile application.
uFlow is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We utilize Apple's modern Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls and ManagedSettings), which allow us to help you manage your device usage without our servers ever seeing which specific apps you use or what websites you visit.
We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our service:
App Usage Data (On-Device Only): Through the Screen Time API, you grant uFlow permission to manage your app limits. This data stays on your device. uFlow employees and servers cannot see your browsing history, message content, or specific app activity.
Technical Log Data: We may collect anonymized technical data (e.g., device model, OS version, and crash reports) to improve app stability.
Personal Identification Protection: Because no account is required, the app does not collect or store personal identifiers such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
Subscription Data: We use Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not see or store your credit card or billing information.
We use the information collected solely to:
Facilitate the App Blocking and Focus Session features.
Provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues.
Analyze anonymized usage trends to improve the app's effectiveness against phone addiction.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Since your most sensitive usage data never leaves your device, the risk of a data breach revealing your personal habits is significantly minimized.
